What if?

What if God sent the Coronavirus?
What if God has had enough of sin in the world and has finally set out to punish it?
What if God is sick and tired of the sins of His people?
What if God is fed up with a lackadaisical church that is more concerned with programs, schedules, and traditions than a true relationship with Him?
What if he is through allowing church leaders and "Worship Artists" to share in the glory which can only be given to Him?
What if God is finally avenging the blood of over 1.5 billion babies murdered in the world since 1980?
What if the church has fallen asleep, or worse, is sleeping in a bed of prostitution with the world?
What if God is sending judgement upon the earth, and sounding an alarm to His people?
What if God is demanding repentance from the church he loves so much?
What if the church cannot hear the alarm because they have become insensitive to His call?
What if the Coronavirus is just the beginning?
What if the end has been set in motion and we are on the verge of destruction?
What if we don't take this seriously and repent of our sin?
What if we choose to ignore the alarm?
What if God is a Holy God who does not wink at sin?
What if God is sick of His church using pagan rituals, music, and activities to draw people in and make them feel comfortable.
What if God loves us so much He is using every means possible to get our attention?
What if God loves us so much He is calling us to wake up, trim our lamps, and buy oil?
What if the light that you think is within you is really darkness?
What if God is calling out to you right now?

          Matthew 4:36-39 says, "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.  But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be". I have always read this scripture and pictured people getting married.  I wondered, "what significance do people getting married have to do with the coming of the Lord?"  I just thought it was saying people would keep getting married and having children right up to the end!  Life would be normal all the way through. We just finished our family devotion studying the book of Jonah. It is amazing the similarities between Nineveh at that time and America today. Nineveh was given 40 days to repent of their sins and turn from their wicked ways or God was going to destroy the city. It is worth noting here that God was obligated to hand out this punishment to Nineveh because of their sin. As a righteous judge, he is obligated to punish. On the other hand, as a righteous God, he is equally obligated to reward obedience. Nineveh had one last opportunity to change. When Jonah finally relented and warned the people, there was a great move towards repentance. I find it interesting that the king himself stepped down off of his throne, took off his royal robes, dressed in burlap, and sat on a heap of ashes. The Masterpiece

On a cool, rainy autumn afternoon, the aging carpenter sat in his workshop thinking about all the things he had made over the years.  His hands, once strong and flexible, could mold and shape wood into anything his mind could dream up.  Now, the mounting years and the cool weather brought pain to his hands.  His fingers struggled to hold a firm grasp on the tools which had virtually become part of him for so many years.  His mind still dreamed and created, but his body was worn and tired.  The thought of closing the doors of the workshop for good was not something he would allow himself to consider.  However, time and strength were no longer his faithful companions.  He decided to compromise.  He would find an apprentice, someone with skill and eagerness to learn.  He would share the visions of his mind with the young man and teach him how to transform these visions into amazing works of art.  There was one particular piece the old man...
