A Letter To The Church

A LETTER TO THE CHURCH

            I pray this letter finds all of you doing well.  I pray that you are healthy in body, mind, and spirit.  I will keep this letter as brief as possible because I know your time is precious.  For a long time now I have felt the call to write a letter to all the local churches to express my concern for the condition of God’s church in general.  I believe what I am about to say to all of you is from the heart of God to His people.   It is a cry of His heart to His church.  Please read this and evaluate it carefully.

            First, I believe America has stepped into a time of great turmoil.  Right now we can see the beginning of this.  It is about to become even worse.  I know this comes as no surprise to any of you, but what comes as a surprise to me is that most churches remain silent about it.  There is no word of warning, no word of preparation to the people.  Why is this?  Why is the church not warning its people?  Why is the church not preparing its people for the coming disasters upon America?   Most of your people are going to be caught unprepared both physically and spiritually. 

            Secondly, I believe the church is about to be judged by God.  For too long the church has been cold and indifferent to the things of God.  Holiness is no longer sought after, in fact, it is no longer preached.  No longer does the church stand apart from the world, but now, the church tries to look like the world so that worldly people feel comfortable inside its walls.   Much like the judgment upon America, the coming judgment upon the church goes mostly unheralded.  The church no longer looks like Christ.  Many churches today look like a social club where people can come and be comfortable in their sins instead of being convicted of their sins.  Is sin even talked about anymore??  God will not allow this to go on much longer.  Either the church repents and turns back to God or He will come and remove the lampstand.  If you are the leader of your church please be aware that you will be held responsible for how you lead your people.  What a huge responsibility.  Please do not take it lightly.

            Thirdly, and I believe this is what God is saying to all churches…..”Persecution is coming soon to all believers.  My people are not ready!!  My people are still committing adultery with the world and are blinded to the reality around them.  Their lives are full of every kind of distraction.  I call you to separate yourself from this world.  There is a cancer growing in my church.  You sing songs of victory instead of praying prayers of repentance.  Where there is no repentance, there is no victory.  My church, listen to my words.  You are not ready for what is coming upon you.  You are weak and I need to make you strong.  It is time to set aside the things of this world.  It is time to set aside the games, the parties, and social gatherings.  It is time to call a fast.  My church has lost its heart for prayer.  I am calling you to pray.  A great deception is about to fall on the church.  Be Awake! Be alert lest you all be deceived.  It is coming very soon.  Please get ready.  Please fast and pray.  Repent and seek for me while I can still be found.  I am the one who is faithful and true.  I am the Mighty God, the Great I Am.  I do not speak fear, but power, love, and a sound mind.  I am greater than your fear.”

Finally, I plead with you to preach this now before it is too late.  The church must repent!  The church must prepare.  He is coming soon.  Even so, come quickly Lord!
